Managing product content and streamlining marketing ROI, young IIM grad drives Fintech vertical at Cygnet Infotech.
As I stepped into the corporate world as a fresh IIM grad, I was likely aware of this rollercoaster ride at Cygnet Infotech, given this exhilarating learning experience working under various entitled projects. At first, it appeared much more challenging which eventually smoothened with the right guidance and proper learning environment. I received hands-on training experience in Tax Technology and developed a deep understanding of the emerging OCEN (Open Credit Enablement Network) model in the Indian Fintech spectrum, working with product teams. Gradually I received the opportunity to work with the leadership team on esteemed client projects where I learnt different business aspects; meanwhile showcased my product understanding, creating value propositions for clients. I represented and participated in global events, engaged with multiple stakeholders to finalize brand positioning and enabled partnership alliances connecting with delegates. Being an engineer will define my experience curve at Cygnet Infotech as y=e^x, Y stands for numerous opportunities to learn and contribute to the team’s overall growth and individual vs X for the time. To simplify it, I was bestowed with the opportunity to manage a website launch and establish our presence in GIFT city, which showcased my seniors’ trust in me and belief in delivering objectives as a newbie. It has not always been work at cygnet but a culture that runs within every Cygnetian, adhering to our smart and connected ecosystem. I am always motivated to take up difficult tasks with various leaders guiding me to ensure I am working out of my comfort zone, and it comes with a reward of encouragement; an employee spot award for performing best of my capabilities. We prioritize not only our work meetings but team gatherings, where every team member is encouraged to join, leaving all priorities aside, building connected bonds and more to it we all are a family to each other for all good and bad times. Talking about good and bad times, I am blessed to be working with Dhaivat, CMO of Marketing, who would always be upfront with his sweet gestures and have fruitful conversations over lunch, travelling with him for events has always been a great experience. While working on another website launch, I met with a fatal accident and had to undergo surgery, but Kesha my go-to person for all work troubles and my manager ensured that she was there by my side to help not just with work but allowing ample amount of rest time to recover. Never had I imagined a fresh grad out of IIM would drive marketing vertical and be a part of this dazzling team at Cygnet Infotech.
Starting my professional journey from Cygnet Infotech, I had my concerns and worries, but Cygnet has been treating me like a family member since day one. The responsibilities and opportunities given never made me feel like a newcomer and always boosted my confidence. My mentor and colleagues have always been helpful in overcoming the challenges. I gained a lot of experience with tax technology and knowledge is still being absorbed because as a developer learning never stops. To kick start your career in an area of interest is important but most important is the organization in which you start your career. I can undoubtedly say that being a part of Cygnet Infotech has been a smart move. I found Cygnet to be perfect hub-spot for enthusiastic learners. There is a prominent colleague-manager interpersonal relationship & a significant positive approach towards new joiners which has helped in enhancing my professional growth.
I have been working at Cygnet Infotech for over 9 years, and I feel I am growing with the company every day. I consider Cygnet to be my second home where I learnt to how to deal with challenges, got chance to build a strong career and found my own entity. I am proud to be a part of Cygnet Infotech.
I have been with Cygnet Infotech since the last 8-9 years, and when I realized how much I wanted to take some time out for myself and my family, I could go up our Founder Mr. Niraj Hutheesing, and tell him that I wanted to take a break for a month. He simply said, “Why not? Please do!” This is the kind of support we receive here at Cygnet Infotech where they make sure their employees are taken care of.
I have been working at Cygnet Infotech for over 3 and a half years now. I started out as a fresher just after passing CA and the journey has been amazing. From handling statutory audits to working as a functional analyst on products, I have learned a lot. The main driving factor for me was the support of my manager which provided me with the flexibility and encouragement to try out different things and not stick to just one role. Additionally, the random preparation talks, involvement in decision making, knowledge sharing sessions and informal lunch meetings are the icing on the cake! I really like to work here.
We have Cygnetians who have been with us for over a decade, some have been there since its inception. Let’s see what they have to say on being a part of Cygnet Family for so long.
When I started my journey with Cygnet, long back, it was a small company. Despite being a developer, I got opportunities to work in multiple roles such as Architect, BA, Designer, Developer, QA, Customer Support, etc. which left me with a great experience. Today, being with the company for more than two decades, I have grown in my career along with the organization. So, to all those who have asked me how I spent 21 years in the company, here’s the answer: trust, open door policy, growth opportunities, passion of management team, openness to change, and a lot more; all these compelled me to be with Cygnet for so long. I am happy to call Cygnet my first home.
Being a Cygnetian since 2002, I have learnt so much in this company over the years. It has been a very nice experience and I have received an environment of growth opportunities for me since the beginning.

I joined Cygnet Infotech as trainee and over 14 years of my experience what I like most about this organization is the way it supports, nurtures, believes & provides all kind of opportunities to people who deserve it. Cygnet always stands behind & motivates members to take risks and decisions, be ahead of the curve, keep innovating, demonstrate creativity and most importantly take responsibilities in a connected manner to provide the best of quality & deliver smart outcomes. Thanks to our founder and managing director, Mr. Niraj Hutheesing, I have never seen someone who works so hard for their people & organization. I am grateful for being part of this amazing journey & wish great achievements for Cygnet.

Cygnet has a great history of retention of employees. The way they treat the employees and the environment they provide us, makes each of us walk the extra mile and work with full heart to make client deliveries on time. This is a win-win for the Client, employee & employer. It has been a successful journey for me for last 17 years with Cygnet and look forward to another 17 years here.
At Cygnet, we know that the single most important ingredient of our success is our culture of growth mindset. I have been associated with Cygnet since the year 2005. Cygnet is a rapidly growing company that provides employees with several opportunities for learning and development and for gaining invaluable experience within a multinational team. What makes people stay longer at Cygnet are the opportunities for personal growth. What I appreciate is that the organization recognizes that each individual’s unique skills and qualities and takes that into stride to generate innovative ideas and better decisions which makes Cygnet and Cygnetians successful.

A statement that influenced my return to Cygnet was “Come Back Home” -Niraj Sir. Sometimes we switch our job for an opportunity to learn, financial boost or career growth, but re-joining Cygnet was none of the above, it was only the trust that the organisation showed in me and the value I get here. Responsibility comes with accountability but working for my own organisation again has come for me as a matter of pride and much more dedication.

Re-joining Cygnet is like a homecoming. Personally, what I have experienced in my current and previous stints with Cygnet is, the strong friendships and bonds we develop here. I have had multiple people tell me that they’re surprised at how easy it is to make friends here. Today, Cygnet is on the cusp of a new growth phase both in services and products. I believe that this shall open new learning opportunities for me, will further my growth.

“Once a Cygnetian is always a Cygnetian”. I did not learn this, but I realized this once I left Cygnet eyeing better growth. It’s when we venture outside, we realize the definition of growth which is way beyond finances. Being valued, being trusted, being recognized and many such factors eventually defines growth. I feel lucky and it is indeed a matter of pride for me to call myself once again “A Cygnetian”.
